Hunted the Kank - My partner and I bagged 5 geese and 3 Mallards. Seen a lot of ducks and geese early - way to many to be all locals IMHO anyway. Real good opening day especially for T-shirt hunting.

Hunted a field tonight that was loaded with geese and ducks sat night. Geese seemed to avoid the field tonight but tons of ducks came in. Seemed decoy shy and didn't want to commit so ran to the truck and grabbed the mojo. Next two flocks circled twice, locked up and came in. Last flock almost landed on us. Saw a ton more ducks, fewer geese

Kicked up a couple hundred roosting geese that did not come back later. Very few flocks moving. lots of woodies, green wing, 1 flock of 10-15 mallards and 1 redhead. lots of wind. Hunted from sun up to sunset, fun day!
